Breeding to preserve the Health, Conformation, Performance & Disposition of the Rhodesian Ridgeback
Our dogs are our family and our house companions. We strive to preserve the breed's health, temperament, and conformation. All of our dogs are certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, OFA, and the Canine Eye Registry Foundation, CERF, for healthy hips, elbows, thyroid, and eyes. In addition our Rhodesian Ridgebacks are EOAD clear and OFA certified against Degenerative Myelopathy, a disease relevant to the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. We believe in upholding the standards of the AKC, American Kennel Club and RRCUS, the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States.
Our Ridgebacks
We take pride in our AKC Champion Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We reside on an 120 acre farm in Northern Pennsylvania and enjoy hiking and outdoor activities with our Rhodesians. We began our life with our first pet quality Ridgeback 'Dillinger' in 2009, and realized that this was the only type of dog for us. We enjoy minimal shedding and complete loyalty and protection. These dogs are athletic and intelligent. We added our second Rhodesian "Lolli" to the family in 2011. I began showing her when she was 10 months old. She was a natural in the show ring. She exudes breed standard and conformation, and her temperament and disposition couldn't have been any better for having very young children. My youngest was 11 months old when we brought her home, and they were the best of friends. We decided to get Lolli's championship and begin breeding to strive to keep the breed type, conformation, and disposition in Rhodesians, Lolli successfully had 2 litters! We added Rita to the family in August of 2015 (she is from Canada) and she acquired her Championship in less than 2 months, at just over a year old! We bred Rita and kept a daughter named Halle, and she finished her Championship with points towards her Grand Championship in a month!!! We also have ZukaZama's Captain Jack who is started in Junior Handler conformation with my daughter and they are one win away from their Championship together in UKC (son of Lolli) and his sister Champion ZukaZama's Lady in Red who finished quickly in the summer of 2022.
They are all such a blessing to our life and add so much to our family.

Dillinger is a Pet Quality Male, our first Rhodesian. Born in February of 2009-March 2021, he is a large part of our family and started our love for Rhodesians. Dillinger has achieved his Beginner Obedience Certificate with our 4 year old daughter in 2015. Dillinger has also earned his CGC title and became a Therapy Dog. Dill accompanied me to High School Educational speaking events as a very willing "patient" and anatomical "model".

Rita was born in June of 2015. She was started in Conformation Handling classes in 2015 in less than 2 months Rita achieved her Championship at age 1, with Professional Handler Jack Secrest !! So proud of our loving girl!

Lolli is our first show quality girl, she is wonderful with children and is amazing in the show ring. She was born in August of 2013. I started her in conformation handling classes when she was about 4 months old and started showing her at 10 months old. I only did about 4 shows with her in 2013, and she still got points with my novice handling. She was on the Show Circuit for just under 3 months in 2015 and acheived her Championsip with Professional Handler Jack Secrest.

After COVID-19 we put Halle on the show circuit with professional handler Nicki King, who amazingly brought this beautiful girl to a Championship with points towards her Grand Championship within a month!!!!! She is our first owner/breeder girl and we couldn't be more proud!!!!
In 2022 we put Lady on the show circuit with professional handler Nicki King, who amazingly brought this beautiful girl to a Championship with points towards her Grand Championship within a month!!!!! She is our 2nd owner/breeder Champion with all health clearances and a beautiful temperament.
In 2022 my daughter started to show Jack on her own, she is a Junior Handler and has 2 majors towards his UKC Championship and needs one more Major win to be her very own Junior Handler Champion in conformation! She is very excited and proud to be showing this gorgeous love-bug on her own. He has the BEST disposition, and all of his health clearances are fantastic!
ZukaZama's Latte with an Extra Shot of Espresso is our show quality female out of Halle x Jack's first litter, her conformation exudes standard with a beautiful ridge/bite/no tail kink, just small amount of white on her chest and a lovely personality. We are excited to see where Latte goes once she hits the show circuit.

ZukaZama's Walker Texas Ranger is a wonderful addition to our family, he is the most LOVING easy going guy, he has a gorgeous ridge and beautifully masked face with limited white and great movement. We are excited to see which direction "Tex Bex" goes !
